Originally built in 1886, the Amelia Schoolhouse Inn was the original school for Amelia Island. Operating as a school for nearly 50 years, the building, despite its prime location in the downtown area, floundered as a multi use property for decades. 

In 2018, the building was completely restored into a 17 room boutique inn complete with an upscale bar. With meticulous restoration of much of the original aspects of the building - including wood floors, the brick, and windows, the completely renovated Amelia Schoolhouse Inn will make you want to come back to the island time after time.
