Always a much-anticipated start to the Blackberry Year, Taste of the South is our annual celebration of Southern food traditions—and the many ways the cuisine continues to grow and evolve. With a dazzling mix of demonstrations, tastings and teachings to delight the palate, this epic three-day event features the Fellowship of Southern Farmers, Artisans and Chefs and benefits the Southern Foodways Alliance. Beyond incredible food, you’ll enjoy the company of like-minded friends, delicious wine and the illuminating perspective of some of the most important voices of today’s food world. The use of cuisine as a catalyst for philanthropic work is the event theme this year, and we’re excited to bring it to life by welcoming Chef Tandy Wilson, Chef Sarah Grueneberg, Vintners Mark McWilliams and Matt Courtney, Scholar in Residence Julia Turshen and Inductee Chef Ashley Christensen.
